Editorial position published: case for a national lift-backup mandate
We published /policy/proposal — our editorial argument for a central law requiring uninterrupted lift backup in buildings above a defined height, modelled on Haryana's 2020 amendment with the gaps closed. Disclosed conflicts and counter-arguments are on the same page.

Eleven new pages went live under /policy/states/, one per state with a lift act in our dataset. Each carries the act citation, backup-mandate status, height threshold, enforcement body, notes, open data gaps, and primary sources.

We published /policy/accidents — a cited record of fatal and serious lift incidents in India sourced from published news. Six entries from 2023 onwards at launch. Help us add more by emailing tips@liftinverter.com.

Editorial governance published: policy, methodology, disclosure
We published the three editorial governance pages that the rest of the site depends on. Editorial Policy covers sourcing, fact-checking, conflicts of interest, and AI use. Methodology defines the seven-criterion scoring framework. Disclosure carries the public register of every commercial relationship that could affect coverage.
